Ipoh Echo is a community-based newspaper first published on 1 Jan, 2006, with the sole aim of bridging the gap between authorities and citizens, and further providing a platform for residents of Ipoh to voice and share their views and concerns.

Since the time of its inaugural issue of 5,000 copies in an eight-page format, Ipoh Echo has progressed to become an online newspaper covering not just community news but also updates on business, education, health, heritage, lifestyle and sports. And of course, it features the ever popular food column by Ipoh Food Diva – SeeFoon Chan-Koppen.
